President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay a state visit to Mongolia on June 1-2. This was announced by Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov at a government meeting, TDH writes.
According to the head of the Foreign Ministry, preparations are currently underway for the upcoming visit to ensure its high organizational level. A program for the trip has been developed, during which it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents aimed at strengthening the legal framework of interstate relations.
As part of the visit, a Turkmen-Mongolian business forum, cultural events with the participation of artists, an exhibition of national arts and crafts, and an exhibition-fair of Turkmen carpets will be held.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, having heard the report, emphasized that the upcoming meetings in Mongolia will be an important step in bringing Turkmen-Mongolian relations to a new level.
