1. The official visit of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to the French Republic has ended. Within the framework of the busy program of the visit, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan held talks with the President of France Emmanuel Macron. The interlocutors paid special attention to issues of trade and economic cooperation.
2. Also, during the visit, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty met with the head of Bouygues, Martin Bouygues. During the meeting, it was noted that the company has been operating in Turkmenistan since the first years of independence. The parties discussed its contribution to the expansion of educational ties between the two countries.
3. The National Leader of the Turkmen people spoke at the Turkmen-French Economic Forum in Paris, where he presented priority areas for cooperation with French business circles. The head of the Halk Maslahaty confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to promote French goods and services in its market, especially in the oil and gas sector, satellite technologies and transport.
4. The key outcome of the visit was the signing of bilateral documents covering a wide range of areas of cooperation: from energy and digital technologies to education and archeology. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also invited the French side to take part in the forum on December 12 in Ashgabat, which will be dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality.
5. Students of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva will perform as part of a united choir of 250 musicians from the CIS countries at the ceremonial events in Moscow dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
6. A tender has been announced for the development and implementation of an automated electronic visa system for the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan. According to the information, the system will automate the entire cycle of visa procedures: from filing an application to issuing visa documents. Applications for participation in the tender are accepted until May 22 of this year in the building of the Officers' House of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan.
