President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure a high level of events dedicated to Victory Day and to organize the presentation of valuable commemorative gifts to war veterans and mothers working on the home front. As Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, song and music meetings, exhibitions, as well as flower-laying ceremonies at the "Memory of the People" memorial complex and monuments of military glory in the country's velayats are planned in the country.

2. The Central Asian countries will be able to celebrate their National Days within the framework of the UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, which will be held on August 5-8 in Avaza, on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea. This was announced at a government meeting by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. The head of the foreign policy department summed up the results of the friendly visits of the National Leader of the Turkmen people to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which took place from April 21 to 24.
3. Turkmenistan is hosting large-scale events dedicated to the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, which is celebrated on April 27 this year. Within the framework of the festive events, scientific conferences and beauty contests "The Most Beautiful Ahal-Teke Horse of the Year" are held. On the day of the holiday, horse racing will be organized at the International Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex.
4. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the construction of a modern bazaar in the city of Kunyaurgench in the Dashoguz velayat. The corresponding decision was made during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. Vice Prime Minister Noker Atagulyev made a report on the activities to further improve the trade sector. According to him, the territory of the new bazaar will house shops, warehouses, a vegetable market and a market for industrial consumer goods with 700 seats each, as well as a car sales area with 150 seats and a parking lot with 200 seats.

5. The Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan held a grand opening of an exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The ceremony was attended by Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin, Deputy Minister of Culture of Turkmenistan Nursahet Shirimov, representatives of the diplomatic corps and public circles, art historians, and journalists. In his speech, the head of the Russian diplomatic mission expressed confidence that this exhibition will become a connecting bridge between the past and the present, a reason to think about what we want our future to be. In total, the exhibition includes 44 paintings and 14 sculptures. The exhibition will run at the Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan until May 12, the press service of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat reported.
