On May 16, 2025, a solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality took place in the village of Edelbay, Blagodarnensky District, Stavropol Krai. The celebration was organized jointly with the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan), bringing together representatives of the district administration, cultural and educational spheres, Turkmen students studying at North Caucasus Federal University, and artistic groups.
The event began with a flower-laying ceremony at the monument to Magtymguly Fragi. This was followed by poetry readings and a festive concert. The colorful atmosphere of the celebration was complemented by a generous Turkmen dastarkhan. The program concluded with a song in the Turkmen language performed by Begli Kezretov, a student at North Caucasus Federal University.
Alexey Mikhailovich Neshadimov, Deputy Head of the administration of the Blagodarnensky Municipal District, Elena Vasilyevna Pozharova, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the district administration, as well as the director of the Makhtumkuli Fragi School, addressed the participants and guests with a welcoming speech.
The best participants—reciters and folk ensembles—were awarded valuable prizes and gifts from the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan).
