1. The President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree on presenting veterans of the Great Patriotic War with cash gifts in the amount of 200 manats and valuable gifts in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory. According to the document, the hyakimliks of velayats, cities and etraps were instructed to organize a ceremonial presentation of gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
2. Turkmenistan presented the results of the seventh round of the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS), organized by the State Statistics Committee with the support of UNICEF. The survey covered more than 6600 households and provided important data on the lives of children and families, including new indicators on gender equality and non-discrimination.
3. A school for 420 children and a kindergarten for 160 children are being built in the new village of the “Taze yol” gengeshlik of the Kunyaurgench etrap of the Dashoguz velayat. The institutions provide modern conditions for education, creativity and comprehensive development of children.

4. On May 24–25, Ashgabat will host the XXIV International Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat”, dedicated to the City Day and organized with the support of UN-Habitat. The event will become a platform for discussing the sustainable development of the Turkmen capital and demonstrating advanced solutions in the field of urban development.
5. On May 3, the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva hosted the 2nd scientific and practical conference dedicated to issues of music education and performing arts in Turkmenistan. The event was attended by leading cultural figures and teachers from all over the country, with special attention paid to the preservation of national traditions and the use of modern teaching methods.
6. A concert was held at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva in honor of the 105th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding singer and teacher, Hero of Turkmenistan Maya Kuliyeva. The program included works from her repertoire, and the performances were accompanied by archival footage from the artists life.

7. Director of the Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Shamurad Shiriyev made a report at a regional conference in Dushanbe, emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation between Central Asian countries. He noted the key role of the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State and the proactive position of Turkmenistan in promoting sustainable and peaceful processes in the region.
8. On May 10 at 18:00, the Watan Cinema and Concert Center in Ashgabat will host a solemn “Victory Concert” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The program was prepared by the orchestra under the direction of Eziz Jumaniyazov, including classical and modern patriotic works.

2. The Turkmenistan Traditional Karate Team went to Pulawy to participate in the Children World Cup from May 4 to 13. More than a thousand athletes from 35 countries will take part in the tournament.
